Used and endorsed widely in Australia, the Titley RX3-DF Direction Finder is a high gain, sensitive direction indicator that is tuned to receive the 121.5 MHz personal EPIRB transmission frequency and to precisely locate its source. At sea its usable range is to the horizon in all directions. Employing a directional Yagi antenna, this lightweight, portable receiver/antenna is functional and rugged. Most importantly it works; and not just in the lab—but in the field as well.
