This is a collapsible wand or stick antenna. It is used for close work, up to 50 metres, and can pinpoint to the square inch, hard to locate or buried transmitters.

Recommendations

For locating transmitters in the near field of reception. Standard directional antenna overload on the strong signals and can’t indicate reliable direction information, whereas the design of the AW antenna gives excellent location indication performance
